  I have been hiring cars from Gem Rent-a-Car for 8 years now and as an owner of a holiday unit nearly all our tourists use Gem from my referral. We have been happy with the door-to-door service and the competitive rates. Once I called Charles early in the morning and told him I was flying into Cairns and can he have a car ready for me at the airport in 3 hours and Charles made it happen. I have not been able to get door-to-door service with Gem rates for car hire and insurance through any other providers. I'm not one to waste time queuing up for a car at the airport or bother with transfers that waste my time dropping everyone off along the way. I like being picked up at the airport and on my way for this reason I only use Gem because it's efficient, friendly and the car is always clean and the service is delivered on time every time.

  I have rented cars many a times, I must say this was my best experience by far. I would highly recommend Gem to visitors in Cairns. Charles dropped us back to the Airport as well. Thanks so much Charles your kindness and impeccable service .

  What a fantastic service. Pick up at your door and drop off where you want. Couldn't ask for anything better. Plus Charles also gave us a local history lesson and some great tips for getting around North Queensland. We would highly recommend Gem Rent-A-Car.

  Great service. Charles was excellent. Personally came to drop the car. Very reasonably priced. Car was very clean and comfortable to drive.
